Hundreds of participants from 13 countries of the world will take part in the Olympiad in Information Technology, which will be held for the first time in the capital of Tajikistan.
Dushanbe will host the International Olympiad in Information Technology ISI Junior 2022, NIAT “Khovar” reports with reference to the Main Department of Education of the capital.
According to the head of the department of preschool and educational institutions Asomiddin Bobozody, the event will be held from July 1 to 7.
The organization is carried out by the Center for the search and development of talents under the auspices of the Dushanbe City Hall.
It is known that 27 youth Olympic teams will take part in the International Olympiad. And these are 158 students and 28 trainers from more than 10 countries of the world.
In addition to the Tajik participants, guys from Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan will come to Dushanbe.
In addition, students from Azerbaijan, Mongolia, India, China, Syria, Sri Lanka and Cuba will participate remotely with 20 teams of 134 people.
Recall that ISI Junior 2022 this year is dedicated to the program “Twentieth Anniversary of the Study and Development of Natural, Exact and Mathematical Sciences in the Field of Science and Education” in Tajikistan.

It is aimed at developing technical thinking, attracting students of secondary educational institutions to a deep study of mathematical, exact and natural disciplines.
It should be noted that a year earlier, a similar Olympiad was held in Russia from July 1 to July 10, 2021, where Tajik participants took 2nd and 3rd places in a remote format.
