Within the framework of the Declaration on Allied Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan signed by the Presidents, active work is underway to transfer Kazakhstan’s experience in the development of information and communication infrastructure of Tajikistan. Thus, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan on cooperation in the transfer of systems of the e-government platform. This was reported in the press center of the Ministry.
In pursuance of the Memorandum, currently a team of technical specialists of JSC “National Information Technologies” in Dushanbe and colleagues from the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan are carrying out a technical assessment of the digital maturity of the ICT infrastructure of the country and the possibility of introducing Kazakh IT solutions.
On December 21, the team of JSC “NIT” carried out the first practical assistance in the form of transfer of e-government components to the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan: “Smart Bridge” service showcase, “Unified platform of Internet resources of government agencies” and information-analytical system “Smart Data Ukimet” under the grant assistance of the Republic of Kazakhstan program of Kazakhstan Agency for International Development “KazAID”.
Within the framework of joint activities on the development of digitalization in Tajikistan, the parties note the high potential for cooperation and further deepening of partnership in the implementation of allied cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
